Mark: Call to Action

Mark was the first of the four Gospels written and he had a strong message of URGENCY! Mark's "Call to Action" is a call to follow Jesus, not in words and comfort, but in sacrifice, service, and faith. Mark sounds the alarm and encourages us to immediately jump into action, not waiting until we feel "ready". Like those who put their lives on the line in an emergency when they respond to an urgent call, Discipleship, answering Jesus' call isn't safe! Are you willing to risk your comfort, reputation, control, and maybe even your life to respond to the alarm sounds?
