Christ Is Enough
Paul, once again, is writing from prison in Rome, but this time it is to a church community he has never visited. He receives a visitor telling him of False Teachers in Colossae who believe in Jesus, but don't believe Jesus is enough. Paul writes a passionate letter telling the people that "Christ is Enough". In today's world, we see churches putting so many things in place that are designed to entertain and "give a better religious experience" while drawing attention away from Christ. What influences did the Colossians face that made them feel they needed to add something to Christ to make salvation valid? What do we do today that we feel is necessary to add to our belief in Christ to make a better relationship...or is our relationship the priority? Join us this Sunday as we look at Paul's Epistle to Colossae.
