Strength for the Weary

What better sermon title for Mother's Day than "Strength for the Weary"! Much like mothers, the church in Thessaloniki was misunderstood, confused, persecuted by its own, and very weary. Paul encourages the Church to keep its faith and stand strong through their struggles and trials and to treat those who are trying to destroy them with grace, love, forgiveness, and generosity. His message? "Rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances".
