A Love Letter

Throughout our study of the New Testament, we have seen that Paul wrote most of the books we have studied so far in the form of personal letters to church leaders or to a specific church for a specific reason. Traditionally, Paul is credited with writing 13 of the letters (Epistles) in the New Testament, but in reality, he probably only wrote 7; the others were written by authors using Paul's name. This was done to add credibility to the writings and to use his influence to continue the building of the new Christian faith. This week, we will look at a "Love Letter" that could have been written by Paul but was probably written by someone using his name. This letter is not contained in the "canonized" Bible, but it still has a message that we might be able to learn from. Join us this Sunday to hear what Paul might have said to a church that was solid and faithful.
