Immediately after his baptism, Jesus was LED into the wilderness to experience 40 days of temptation as he was prepared for his short time of earthly ministry. What was the purpose of this trial, and how does it apply to us today? God had announced that this was "His Son" so what was the purpose of tempting his humanity? Maybe that's part of the intent! Showing that even though you are part of God's Family, there will be struggles and trials. Join us this Sunday as we look deeper into the temptations that Christ suffered and how they can be an example of how we can deal with our own weaknesses.
